Offshore Training in Malta
The Institute of Professional Studies at UCLan Cyprus, in co-operation with the International Safety Training College in Malta, organise the Sea Survival training of the Oil & Gas students as part of their overall professional training every year. The first students to travel to Malta in September 2015, had the opportunity to share a unique training experience including offshore safety induction, helicopter safety and escape training, sea survival training, fire-fighting, self-rescue and compressed air breathing system training.
ISTC was founded in 2000 and registered as a college in 2012. The International Safety Training College currently operates two leading centres in Malta and Libya which provide consultancy and training to the highest professional standards in fire-fighting, emergency response, disaster management, offshore and marine survival, fire safety, health & safety and first aid.
